Sticky Toffee Orange Pudding

It’s almost sticky toffee pudding meets moist sponge cake with a tender orange sponge soaked in a burnt orange toffee sauce for the gooiest pudding.

My recipe is egg free and can be made without dairy plus it’s super simple to make.

Sticky Toffee Orange Pudding

We start by making my one-bowl orange sponge with buttermilk and yoghurt for that incredibly tender crumb. Orange zest is rubbed into brown sugar for that gorgeous zesty caramel flavour. For that deep burnt orange toffee sauce we are heating sugar, orange juice and vanilla extract over medium heat before mixing in butter and cream. The sponge is baked until golden and then covered in the indulgent toffee sauce for that sticky gooey texture that you just can’t beat. Serve with ice cream or custard for an irresistible dessert!
