Hot Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls

These hot chocolate cinnamon rolls are inspired by the drink of the season with perfectly pillowy soft chocolate dough filled with a chocolatey cinnamon filling and gooey marshmallows slathered with a creamy whipped frosting.









Completely vegan and so easy to make!


Hot Cocoa Cinnamon Rolls



We are going to start by making the dough. In a saucepan, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and sugar. Heat the mixture to just warm, about 37 degrees or similar to a warm bath. Sprinkle the yeast evenly over the warm mixture and let set to activate the yeast. If the mixture is too warm you will kill the yeast. In a large bowl, mix 550g flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder. Pour the yeast mixture into the dry and mix with a wooden spoon until just combined.
