Eggless Belgian Buns

Made using my easy vegan 7-ingredient roll dough they are filled with gooey lemon curd and sweet juicy sultanas. They are topped with a thick layer of sweet icing and a glace cherry for the perfect sweet treat. 

My recipe is egg-free and can be made without dairy, plus it’s super simple to make.

Eggless Belgian Buns

We start by activating the yeast in a warm milk and butter mixture which is then left to rise in a warm place to create that pillowy soft texture. For that much-loved gooey centre we are using homemade lemon curd plus juicy sultanas for a little bit of sweetness between each layer of soft sticky dough. Once baked until golden they are then covered in fondant icing and finished with a glacé cherry for a classic British treat.
