Chocolate and Vanilla Marble Cake

One batter, two flavours, this is my chocolate and vanilla marble cake. 

Three layers of the softest vanilla sponge swirled with rich chocolate, layered with velvety whipped chocolate ganache, covered in creamy vanilla buttercream and finished with a chocolate ganache drip topping. My recipe is egg-free, dairy free and the best part is it’s super simple to make. 

Chocolate and Vanilla Marble Cake

 The cake starts with dairy-free yoghurt and buttermilk for that incredibly tender crumb. After making the vanilla cake batter, one third is set aside and transformed into that rich fudgey chocolate flavour. Alternate spoonfuls of vanilla and chocolate cake batter are spooned into three pans and left to spread and swirl whilst baking for that effortless marble design. Layered with chocolate ganache and wrapped in a vanilla buttercream, this is the ultimate crowd pleasing cake.
