Banoffee Tres Leches Cake


Banana bread meets tres leches with a squidgey banana sponge soaked in a caramel-infused triple milk mixture. Covered in gooey caramel, sweet whipped cream, and a dusting of chocolate shavings it’s got everything you know and love about a banoffee pie. 





No eggs are required and can be made without dairy for a fully vegan cake!

It starts with a simple one-bowl banana sponge which is baked until golden. The sponge is poked with holes and then covered in a caramel-infused triple milk mixture which soaks into the sponge for that moist texture.



After a double soak with the milk, it's popped in the fridge overnight so the milk can absorb into the sponge. The next day it's covered in more gooey caramel, a layer of whipped cream, and chocolate shavings for that classic banoffee flavour.
